In 2013 Neil commited himself to documenting a solo improvisation each day. There are 365 pieces here in total. Each improvisation was crafted in its own parciular fashion. Some were manically recorded in the middle of the night, others frantically documented between commitments, or or labored over for hours on end. Each piece had the fullest and best of Neil's energy. He recorded in forests, bedrooms, parking garages, garbage dumps, alpine hikes, inside cars, and on and on. 12 Moons is a document of Neil's life and work in a single year.January
