Recorded while backpacking at Capitol Reef National Park, Utah on the "Upper Spring Canyon" trail. I encountered a Spring storm that brought in some snow. Right as it began falling I found a gem of a spot to play out of the weather, underneath an overhang at a twist in the canyon. This brief improv makes use of microtonal melodies, phasing, and overblowing of the horn.
