Neil will play a set of solo, acoustic saxophone improvisations and original compositions. These will include tenor and soprano, but also the lesser heard behemoth Bass and the smaller C soprano saxophones. Expected work to explore abstract, improvised sound structures that involve continuous phases of sound, noise, and athletic pointillism melodies. All of it explores the full range of the horn, from key clacking and air, to overblown blasting through acoustically generated multiphonics and chords colors.
