Secret Forest Show Tonight in Ravenna Park. Seattle
For the fourth year running, bassist John Teske and I present music among the trees in Seattle’s Ravenna Park. This Saturday, August 9th we’ll be joined by local musicians Sonja Myklebust (cello) and Greg Campbell (percussion). Our ensemble will perform a number of short works, with room for improvisation to respond to the natural environment, starting at 7:30pm and ending as the sun sets at 8:32pm that evening.

Notes:
This improvisation was quickly developed and recorded after reading about the current atrocities being committed in the Middle East between the Israelis and Palestinians. I was particularly horrified by the images and spoken accounts of the grossly disproportionate number of Palestinian casualties in the conflict.
